Very busy day today. Besides the usual mommy duties, today I spoke to 4 future challengers. I love finding out their goals in order to help them achieve them...that's my job! It's interesting to hear how many of the people I speak to have a misconception of what healthy eating and what a healthy lifestyle are all about. If you are wondering...a healthy lifestyle is NOT a liquid diet, it's NOT eating one meal a day, it's NOT skipping meals, it's NOT eating less, it's NOT taking pills that can damage more than help and it's simply NOT a diet. A healthy lifestyle is all about balance. Eating 4 to 6 meals a day, 3 of those your 3 main meals and based on portions. It's eating solid foods. It's drinking plenty of water. It's exercising at least 4 to 5 times a week. It's sleeping at least 6 to 8 hours a night. It's keeping your stress levels under control. It's basically following the 80/20 rule where you get to enjoy the things you love in moderation. If you want to start a healthy lifestyle and don't know where to begin reach out to me and we can figure it out together. My next accountability group starts on May 30th and the last day to join is Friday the 20th!

Why are you trying to be Perfect? Because perfect simply means invincible? Friend...today I want to share something with you. You are already perfect in God's eyes. He made us in his image which is simply PERFECTION. You have the freedom to stop trying to fit into someone else's mold and be YOU. Fully embrace who God created you to be. God designed you to take responsibility for your life. When you do this, many beautiful things start to happen, you start to dream again, you take risks and live out your purpose and discover who you were created to be. Are you living your life how God intended it to be? If you are not, START today. Start by doing something that makes YOU happy because if if feels right in your gut... that's God inside of you giving you his approval. Life is not about trying to be someone you are not, it's about being who God created you to be. Let God lead you to be the person he intended you to be. If you are off course, let him bring you back.
